The Challenge

Understanding the problem

Most restaurant websites in India are a PDF menu and a phone number. Orders arrive as WhatsApp messages with no structure, the kitchen works from screenshots, and there's no record of what a customer ordered last time. Meanwhile the delivery aggregators take 20–30% of every order placed through them.

The Marketing Angle

Direct ordering is the whole argument. Every order that comes through the restaurant's own site instead of an aggregator keeps the commission in the business. The site is built to make that path the easy one — menu to cart to WhatsApp confirmation in under a minute on a phone.

Our Approach

How we built it

01

Menu as structured data

The menu lives as structured data rather than a PDF, so items carry prices, dietary flags and availability — and search engines can read every dish.

02

Cart to WhatsApp handoff

A customer builds an order on the site and it arrives in the restaurant's WhatsApp as a formatted, itemised message the kitchen can act on directly.

03

Table booking and outlets

Reservation form with automated confirmation, plus individual outlet pages with maps and hours for local search visibility.

What it demonstrates

Demonstrates a complete direct-ordering path — browse, cart, WhatsApp confirmation — that keeps aggregator commission inside the business.

This is a concept build, so there are no traffic or revenue figures to report — we only publish those for live client projects.
